the bells above the door jingled as Kit walked into the book shop. She smiled at the musky smell of paper and cinnamon. The owner kept a bowl of potpourri in the corner. Kit had come here once or twice before, and she was instantly drawn to it. She worked at Banrs&Nobel, but this was her all time favorite store.
It reminded her of a Library in a way. The books were old (ish) but beautifully bound. There were rich, scented candles alone the shelves and giant comfy chairs. The owned even had a small coffee machine, some hot water and tea packets.
Kit smiled and made her way to the back of the store.
"Good afternoon Mr. Rodric."
"Ah, hello Ms. Greene."
The old man smiled warmly at her.
"Do you suggest anything good?" Kit poured herself a cup of soothing Jasmine tea.
"Ah, yes. Right this way."
Mr. Rodric lead her along the isles till he found a giant, purple, leatherbound book.
"It's a diary of a woman from before renaissance time. I thought you might like it."
"Oh wow." Kit breathed, her finger running along the spine. It was amazing.
Mr. Rodric smiled.
"It was by a Witch." His eyes twinkled merrily.
"Oh, really?!" Kit gasped and smiled widely.
"Oh, thank you so much! It sounds fantastic!" Kit hugged the old man, who laughed at her antics.
"No problem, my dear. Enjoy it."
"I will!" Kit promised and made her way toward on of the over-sized fluffy chairs. Ever since she was a little girl, she had been interested in the supernatural. But nothing interested her more than witches and magic.

it was a usual saturday morning
i woke up
had breakfast
and chilled with my buds
yeah, i wish
first off i don't sleep
second i don't eat
and third
i don't exactly have any buds to chill with
but today i did do something normal
i went to the book store

Kit turned through the pages in the book, totally enthralled. She sipped her tea and glanced at her watch. Woah, she had been here for an hour all ready, and she wasn't even halfway through with the book. She smiled to herself. It didn't matter. Her mom was at work all day anyway and Rosie probably had a date.

i walked into the front door and took a deap breath
ahhhh
the smell of books was so soothing
their musty oder enthralled my sences and for a moment i was a book
i took a few steps forward examining the spines of the novels
each one i passed i absorbed the information put down on each page with out even glancing inside the book

Kit yawned and finished off the Jasmine tea. Damn, that was some goooood tea.
She stuck a book mark on her page and set the book down, taking her empty mug to the back of the store. She poured herself some more hot water and added another tea packet.
A plate of cookies had been set on the table and she smiled to herself. Mrs. Rodric was an amazing cook.
Kit made her way back to the giant chair munching on her cookie. Yum.

as i drew another breath of mustey book air i caught a wiff of something unfamiliar
and it was close
my eyes focussed on a chair 2 yards away and in the chair was kit
her warm radiant glow reached me and a wash of human thoughts and emotions invaded my head
i decided to shield myself from her view by positioning my body behind the mythology book shelf a-f

Kit felt a warm stare on her back. She looked up and glanced around. Somebody was stranding by a bookshelf, but she couldn't see who.
"Your going crazy." She muttered to herself. "Stop being so paranoid."
Kit went back to reading her book and drinking her tea. The cookie she had had was already eaten.

i couldn't decide if i should stay and pretend everything was ok or if i should leave the book store
every time i came in the vicinity of this girl i could feel a stronger presence of evil near
i couldn't trust being around her
but i had to get as many facts as i could about kitt to better my understanding of the situation
i casually turned the corner and and pretended that i had no idea she was only feet away

Kit looked up from her book and saw the person stepping from behind the bookshelf.
"A... Arrow?" She called hesitantly. That was his name, right? she asked herself. Of course it was. Who was she kidding? she'd never be able to forget his name. Or his face for that matter.

"hey kitt, how are you doing" it was hard convirsing with humans since i already knew what they would say

"I guess I'm alright." She smiled hesitantly.
"And you? What brings you here?"
Kit cocked her head to the side and leaned against the bookshelf.

i was about to answer when i saw the book she was reading
it was about witches and the supernatural
no it couldn't be
witches were thought to be extinct
all killed in the shadow wars
but...but it did make sence
"i just came here for a book" i said

"That's cool."
She glanced around at all the leather bindings on the book shelf.
"Um.... what book are you looking for?"

"i dunno, just a book"
well this was going well
" the book your rreading looks pretty interesting"

Kit glanced back at the chair the book was sitting on.
"Yeah. Mr. Rodric suggested it to me."
She couldn't help but smile widely. She wished Mr. and Mrs. Rodric were her grandparents. They were such kind, nice people.
